On photographing people
Its in portraiture that I return to find a a gentle poetry and endless satisfaction as it’s all about being in the moment which I love. It allows me meet people from many different cultures and be gifted a passport into people’s special moments.
I've been making photos since I got my hands on a disposable camera when I was 8 years old. I fell in love with the medium for it's ability to capture, collect and reflect the world around me. For over 10 years I've been working professionally on different projects covering everything from fashion, theatre, food and still life. Please drop me a line if you are interested in seeing more of my commercial work.
I photographed my first wedding by accident when I was around 10 years old during my uncle’s wedding and had a few rolls of film and camera on my person. Since then I gained my chops working for a wedding photoraphy company during my university years before branching out on my own. I’ve been very fortunate to have met many wonderful people and thier families along the way and build a life around my passion.
These days I work on a variety of things and take on only a limited number of weddings so I can give my best energy to the ones I cover.
Please drop me a message if you are interested in working with me.
